To Dad

So much of me is because of this man! All of us kids did tributes for our dad's up at the reunion. Whitney (my sis) and I bawled through the whole thing, but it is because of her that I wanted to put this old picture up of my dad and me. Whitney told everyone about this picture and how she keeps it in her room. She says she had it because of how happy we both looked and how it reminds her of what she wants in her life. I loved that! We were both happy in that picture. Perfectly happy. He's my friend. We have a lot in common, good and bad. I caught O.C.D. from him also being short. He named me 'Roxy' because he loves rox and the outdoors, I've gained that same love for the outdoors from him. I teased him at the reunion that because of him, I was made fun of by all my roommates in college when ever I would say things like 'well, I ustacould', but that I am so thankful that because of him, I was raised in a small town. My dad would do anything for me. My second year in college, my roommates and I walked into a horrible living situation. The place was awful and I could not stop crying. I called my parents in desperation. My dad and mom were there about 6 hours later with all kinds of things from home to make my home more bearable. That is my dad, he will do anything at a minutes notice for me. Most importantly he has always believed in me. Thank you dad. I love you so much!!
