Fun at Foy

We just got back from having some good ole country fun up at Foy Lake. We went up Friday evening and camped over night. It turns out another family from our ward was doing the same thing so we ended up camping with them. All the kids had a great time and it was fun getting to know the Young's better. The girls slept in a small tent and Sam and I just slept under the stars. It was so beautiful up there and the whole experience just renewed my spirits. I just love the simple things we can do with our family. Enough of the warm and fuzzy stuff, I'm afraid I have to mention the down and dirty side of our outing as well. I'm sure the following pictures will explain.

Lily actually stayed pretty clean. I hope my o.c.d.ness isn't already wearing on her.

This is all the kids, making the most awful black paste out of the surrounding dirt and our minimal drinking water, considering our water cool slipped and spilled first thing.

Lily didn't make it 2 seconds in the car before she crashed. It's hard work turning yourself into a dirt ball.
